

Our Story
Embody Yoga was founded by Joanna Brooks in Milwaukee in 2015 with a mission to share the practice yoga with people of color. Since it’s founding, Embody Yoga has served hundreds of people, the majority of whom identify as people of color. Embody Yoga offers classes that are accessible, affordable, culturally relevant and welcoming to all. We invite you to join us on the mat.

How to Register For Class:
1. Select the class you want to take from the options below and click the 'Register'. Once you've selected a class, you will be prompted for payment and guided through the registration process.

FOR NEW STUDENTS:

We will send you a confirmation email with directions to find our studio. Please be sure to review those directions . You can also find directions to our studio at the bottom of this page. We encourage all new students to arrive 15 minutes early for class.

Cancellation Policy: For yoga and Pilates Mat classes, students have up until 3 hours before class begins to cancel their registration. For Pilates Reformer + Mat classes, students have up until 24 hour before class begins to cancel their registration. Failure cancel within these time frames will result in forfeiture of the class pass.

Locating Our Studio
We are located in the Barnabas Building Complex. However, the entrance to our studio is in the back of the building and not visible from Port Washington Road. We do not recommend relying solely on GPS to find our studio as it will send you to the wrong entrance.
If you are headed north on Port Washington Road (heading towards Hampton Avenue), turn right at River Woods Parkway and then take the first left at Estabrook Lane.
If you are headed south on Port Washington Road (headed towards Capitol Drive), make a left at River Woods Parkway and then take the first left at Estabrook Lane.
Follow the road all the way to the back parking lot and enter through Door #7. Walk up the small flight of stairs and turn left. Follow signs for Embody Yoga.
